What drives me?

I love to build teams who design for hard-working people.

I find passion in rallying a team around crafting experiences for users with a job to get done—people with more important things to focus on than figuring out how to use their tools. I believe great products come out of great teams, so I work to cultivate a collaborative, authentic, and supportive team environment. My favorite part of the design process is to see users in their element and to design tools that make their job easier, more efficient, and even fun!

Take a look at my resume for details and let's chat.

eBay Selling Team, 2021-present

Design Manager

Since early 2021, I’ve been leading the future of selling at eBay. My team partners closely with cross-functional leaders and many teams across eBay to define the future of listing. We then work to step our current experiences toward the future, refreshing the way we release products and measure success along the way.

As a manager, my focus is to coach and cheer individuals along their personal career journey, while guiding the team together to serve our end-users. I am diligently focused on creating a cross-functional team where each member feels valued, respected, and included in building world-class experiences.

Before joining the Microsoft Education team, I was able to spend four quarters teaching Interaction Design at Western Washington University. The experience helped me grow as a leader, art director, team mediator, and served as a form of ethnographic research for my current role.
